The Navigators Tower

A Four story high spire stands aft of the bridge. It is obsidian black and inscribed with hexagramatic wards.
The entrance is guarded by battle servitors and inside the temperature drops steeply.
Every wall surface is engraved with wards.
On the ground floor the Navigator takes visitors, walls are decorated with draperies depicting stellar phenomenon, void battles and Imperial Saints. A lavish library, consisting mostly of maps, journals and history books is where the Navigator greets her guests. Also on this floor are acolytes chambers and teaching theater.
Next floor is reserved for Navigator‘s serfs. The blinded serfs use the engraving on the walls of this floor to navigate the corridors.
Third floor is the Navigator’s private chamber and seclusium. Entrance is forbidden without permission. Stellar charts, her personal starchart collection and other esoteric trinkets sit upon tables and shelves. Strewn across her work area are maps, scripts describing stellar and warp phenomenon, old sextants and watches made of brass and wood.
On top of the spire sits the Navigator’s Sanctum. This hundred foot sphere enables the Navigator to translate the whole ship or even more into the Imaterium. Opening her third eye enables the Navigator to gaze into the warp and the Sanctum grants her the power to pull her ship into the turbulent Imaterium.
