Ranged Weapon Craftsmanship
Poor Weapon gains the Unreliable Quality – if it already is Unreliable, it jams on any failed hit roll. Its awful and shoddy appearance affects all social interactions you do with a -5 to all Fellowship based tests, as you are a laughing stock of the party.
Common No effects – default craftsmanship of all weapons. Still sub par for any real Noble man
Good Weapon gains the Reliable Quality (Or loses Unreliable Quality). Finely wrought, this weapons truly suits someone of your stature. No one can dispute your claim.
Best Weapon never jams or overheats. For the fabled masters of far corners of the universe, these weapons are suitable for High-Lords of Terra with their make. They are surely to be a talk of the party when displayed and a pleasure to hear when used. Attracting many eyes, for good or bad. Intimidating someone with this weapon gains a +5 bonus. (situational)
Melee Weapon Craftsmanship
Poor Suffer -10 penalty to all WS Tests made with this weapon – 1 damage. Your weapon is crooked, its hilt is loosely fit, maybe you would be better off with that table leg over there. Hope to God-Emperor that you don’t go anywhere with that thing.
Common No effects – default craftsmanship of all weapons – Fresh from the factory.
Good Gain a +5 bonus to all WS Tests made with this weapon – Magnifique. Its more of a sign of office then a simple tool. Truly what is expected of you. Bound to win duels. (This might not be true)
Best Gain a +10 bonus to all WS Tests and +1 Damage with this weapon. Usually of origins intimidating to some, GM and Player are encouraged to develop a history for the weapon. (optional)
Armour Craftsmanship
Poor Suffer -10 penalty to all Agility Tests, Increases weight by one quarter
Common No effects – default craftsmanship of all armour
Good Increase AP by 1 vs the first attack in any Round
+5 to pre-determined social test such as Charm or Intimidation (optional)
Best Half the normal weight and increase AP by 1
+5 to pre-determined social test such as Charm or Intimidation (optional)
Gear Craftsmanship
Poor Suffer -10 penalty to all Tests made with this tool
Common No effects – default craftsmanship of all tools
Good Gain a +5 bonus to all Tests made with this tool
Best Gain a +10 bonus to all Tests and it is 50% more beneficial ((optional) Auspex scans half the range more etc.)
